Do I need subwoofers? |
| Subwoofers are large speakers designed to
reproduce lots of low, deep bass. They
are typically used when music needs to be
quite loud or must cover a large outdoor
area. Subwoofers are generally not used at
wedding receptions, as dance-club volumes
are rarely desirable in this environment.
The main loudspeakers each include a large
15" woofer, which is more than sufficient to
provide plenty of bass for most wedding
receptions or other environments where
extremely loud volumes are not desired.
For other events, such as class reunions,
school dances, large parties, or large
outdoor events, subwoofers add the needed
punch to the low bass. They enable
higher volumes without bass distortion, for
that club-thumping feel.
